Which hair straightener do i get?? :( Royale or Chi?

My friend had this hair straightener that i wanted for a looong time but i could never save up the money for it. It's a pink royal flat iron straightener, and after I used it my hair was very smooth/silky and I LOVED that! I mainly like the royal straightener because of its color and the way it made my hair feel. But it's soo expensive and i'd need to buy it online. D: The CHI striaghtener i heard about through a youtube video and i recently saw it at a hair salon nearby me, but it only comes in black but its like about $30 cheaper. But I wanted to know if CHI makes your hair that silky/smooth too? If it does then I think I will buy the chi straightener but i dont know? help! Also, i have thick hair and have used conair striaghtener before, mine is just old, works fine but i need a upgrade. xD
