Scholarship and Copyright Infringement?

I read up a bit on the "fair use" of copyrights but I am still a little weary about the use of it applying to scholarships. For example. If I were to apply for a scholarship and the objective is to create a work of my own based on what I want to do in the future and in my work I use a company logo in the artwork of my dream job; would this be copyright infringement? I could do without the logo, but having it in there is basically what my whole future is centered around, it is why I am going to school and why I am applying for a scholarship.
