Need help with pokemon episodes?

im looking for the seasons of pokemon on dvd that have just ash brock and misty. i saw on ebay a season 1 super wallet, but it only has 48 episodes. were there not more like 79-115 episodes on the first season? i want all the episodes with ash misty and brock on 1 box set. so how many episodes has just ash misty and brock before tracy joins in and were can i find all the episodes together?
