Head cold/allergies and safe medicine?

I'm 39 weeks and my midwife has been through 3 pregnancies with me so thats 3 years worth of cold ands congestions. She's always prefered claritan if it's just stuffy nose from change of season, if it's worse then that more like a cold or infection starting sudafed is o.k. to use as well. Hope you feel better.
