An ex bf sed he cheated while we were dating........?

ok i have this ex and we talked bout getting bak 2gthr but then he sed something one day and i was like whoa you jerk!!! Well a couple days l8r i txt him and told him off. well he got his current gf 2 txt me and i hav enuf prob wit her any way. well long story short she and him made up a lota **** that i no isnt tru. but there is one thing....he sed he cheated on me. and i no hes a major man and its possible. but i dumped him so do you think he made it up just to piss me off???? HELP!!!!!!
